There's a lot going on at the BCA! Within our campus are theatres, restaurants, retail shops, artists' studios, a condominum complex, a jazz club, a breathtaking, domed exhibition space, a gallery, and the headquarters of several arts organizations.

Boston Ballet
Founded in 1963, the Boston Ballet is one of the major ballet companies in North America and among the top companies in the world, presenting choreography of the highest caliber and offering great variety in repertoire.

Hamersley's Bistro
Established in 1987, Gordon and Fiona Hamersley's four-star bistro—an elegant Boston translation of the homey, family-run country bistros of France—features a private dining room and a patio for outdoor seating.
Artists' Studios at the Tremont
Estates Building
The artist studio program at the BCA is dedicated to providing affordable workspace and a supportive environment to artists in all disciplines, at all stages of artistic development. The Tremont Estates Building is home to more than 40 artists and 10 not-for-profit arts organizations.
Mills Gallery
The BCA mounts approximately six large-scale exhibitions in the 2,200 square foot Mills Gallery each year. Each exhibition includes multiple opportunities to engage with the artwork and artists through artist's talks, curator's talks and other events.
The Beehive
Opening in 2006, this joint venture between the BCA and a consortium of local business owners will be a full-service restaurant and bar featuring live jazz and outdoor seating. It will occupy what was formerly the Leland Center, a two-story performance venue.
Plaza kiosk
Originally the cupola of the House of the Angel Guardian, an orphanage designed by Gridley J.F. Bryant in the 1850s, the kiosk has served as an announcement board, a ticket booth and a cafe. It is currently used to post performance information, and houses a Sovereign Bank ATM.
Plaza theatres
The BCA's intimate plaza theaters—the 142-seat Plaza Theatre and the 90-seat Black Box—provide a unique and flexible space not only for four of its five Resident Theater Companies but also for an exciting range of Boston theater companies.
Cyclorama
First opened to the public in 1884, the Cyclorama—the centerpiece of the BCA—was initially built to house a panoramic painting of the Battle of Gettysburg. Marked by its domed roof and spacious rotunda, the Cyclorama is a Boston landmark, and an ideal space for both private and public events and festivals, as well as visual arts and dance.
Community Music Center of Boston (CMCB)
For ninety-six years, Community Music Center of Boston has provided music education and related services to diverse constituencies, with an emphasis on reaching those who are unlikely to be taught by private teachers and conservatories. These include students from traditionally underserved neighborhoods, as well as special needs populations with physical, mental and emotional challenges.
Calderwood Pavilion
Unveiled in 2004, the Calderwood Pavilion houses two theaters—the 360-seat Virginia Wimberly Theatre and the 200-seat Nancy and Edward Roberts Studio Theatre—providing a second stage for the Huntington Theatre Company and a home for other performance entities, including BCA Resident Theater Company SpeakEasy Stage Company.

This modern American restaurant features the cuisines of David and Bob Kinkead in a dual menu format that emphasizes each season's freshest food products.

Design Within Reach
Design Within Reach carries hundreds of modern furnishings, including seating, workspace furniture, lighting, bedroom designs, accessories and much more. Includes iconic designs of the 20th century as well as innovative, hard-to-find designs by today's hot young designers.
Picco (Pizza and Ice Cream Co.)
This casual, affordable South End alternative offers light, fluffy pizza and sinful ice cream sundaes in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Uniform
A new retail store devoted to contemporary menswear and skin-care products, Uniform specializes in urban, casual, quality clothing and accessories that are fashion-oriented, value-driven and utilitarian in nature.
Atelier | 505
This 103-unit luxury condominium complex developed by the Druker Co. Ltd. features 24-hour concierge service, an on-site fitness center and car-washing in the building's garage.
Sooki
Sooki is a cozy boutique selling distinctive women's clothing, unusual accessories and home fashions. It features up-and-coming international designers as well as handcrafted pieces from artists across the U.S.
