Urban Partition
An Urban Partition for staging of BCA’s events. The multi-facet structures
(perform like a mirror ball) transform the ambient surrounding into a specular
atmosphere. The highly reflective multi-facet structures serve as a staging
partition for events and combine with a beacon (functions as a specular transformation
and informative device), they support a variety of installations for specific
events.
The vertical scaffoldings of the partition are placed horizontally for landscaping,
display and sittings function. A device to elicit potential specular events,
the placement of unconventional structures requires new bodily posture and
movement (as in the performing arts) during the usage. A derive of new metrics
for the ground activities, it mirrors the stage for every users and passersby
becomes part of the specular event.
