Transformation
The plaza is a place of interaction, a place to watch relationships between people passing one another, a place to become a part of these relationships that develop change and dissolve in moments. The plaza is always changing, becoming something new. Seating areas envelope elevated platforms and serve as steps leading to these green spaces. From these, the events of the plaza are watched and upon them a new set of events takes place. At night lights spotlight entrances to the BCA, create gathering spaces along the edges of the platforms, and create more intimate conditions beneath canopies. The dynamism of the ever changing events of the plaza is captured in these constantly shifting canopies.
