Faceted System
Occupation, views, and movement, in combination with existing buildings and objects create an armature, and in turn - a framework of negative space is created. Like Giacometti, surface and mass are created in unison through carving and application, resulting in a monolithic form (constituting or acting as a single, often rigid, uniform whole). This form creates all at once: shelter, views, seating, and lighting.
